A typographic art poster for The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: utilizing data and information from the Library of Congress' website as the text and basis for the design.
Recently I wanted to create a poster but I didn't know where to start, then on a whim while looking for inspiration through the available public domain images on the website for the Library of Congress I came across a photo of the first edition of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. I looked at the entry about the image, grabbed all the text about it, and then went to work. This is the result.
